REFLECTIONS OF WHAT IS

Small things are worth cherishing.  Big things are too glamorous and not really worth the trouble.  Those seeking inner peace, begins the moment you choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions.

I have found in order to get your point across just be still don't waste your words on people who don't deserve your silence.  Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all.

Understand when you really take time to reflect you can cut people out of your life and it doesn't mean you hate them it simply means you respect yourself. Reflect on what it is.

N'SYNC

He knows me.  He knows my thoughts.  He knows my moves.  He finishes my sentences.  He seems to have lived my childhood.  He listens to the same music as I do, watches the same shows and laughs at the identical jokes.

He can't believe I am into sports.  We are such a perfect fit but worlds apart.  It's funny how we can find someone that seems to be our equal, yet our paths never seem to cross at the right times.  It's amazing how things seem so right, yet too easy and simple to be true.

She knows me.  She knows my thoughts.  She knows my moves.  She finishes my sentences....it's the exact same for the other.  How can we make this work when we are worlds apart?

VETERAN

Salute, stand-up, cheer them and give them thanks!  To our great men and women who have fought for our country, protected our air, land and water, they guard our borders and sacrifice day in and out to ensure our safety.

Praise the Veteran's all over the world.  The military stands strong, Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guards, all under the Presidential leadership.  What a great force we have leading the United States!

"Our Nation tis of thee sweet land of liberty". Let's be more humble, mindful and grateful of those that put their life on the line day in and out to protect us and honor our freedom!

Shout out to all the Veteran's and newly enrolled into the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard.  We thank you!

TEACH THEM

Growing up we learn a lot about history, current events but nothing really about being independent, responsibility and financial stabilization.  We are entering a month of giving thanks, being reflective and self-aware.

I challenge the adults to mentor a young person to understand life skills and help navigate them through this holiday season. To not purchase things outside their means.  Help these young adults comprehend the value of  a dollar and what to expect in life.  Teach them self-respect is the best respect.  Teach them the meaning of priority and that needs are more important the. The wants.

Teach them to never rely on others  promises to do for them, in order for them to learn to do for themselves.  Some of you may wonder what will you gain.  Simply answer, an independent adult that will keep a stable job in order to pay into your social security.  Any other questions?
