CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Do you remember when we fell in love?  We were young and innocent then.  Do you remember us holding hands?

My Summer love had green eyes, dimpled cheeks, sandy brown hair, Carmel skin and wicked smile.  We played freeze tag, hide and seek, red light green light and my ultimate game of spin the bottle.

We would play stick ball, skateboard, roller skate and pretend we were at a water park as the fire hydrant sprayed us down.  I remember running for Mr.  Softy riding bikes and climbing trees.

He kept my secrets, shared our first kiss, held hands, snitched on our older siblings and made plans to get the new blue and yellow Keds.

My dearest first kiss, best friend, the one that stole my 6 year old heart you are not forgotten.  Rest in peace D and sweet dreams.

IT'S NOT AN EASY ROAD

Life is suppose to be simple.  We are supposed to smile, laugh, rejoice and dance at events,  life changes and accomplishments.  So why is it that we frown, growl, cry and walk away and life simplest things?

Never once did we imagine that being a grown up would come with such aches and pains.  The TV shows in our younger years made it look so glamorous and fun.  So here we are full of issues and bills starring to the sky anticipating money to drop from out of no where.

Oh we'll, life's not at all simple.  We chose our careers or lack of it.  We choose our education or lack of it.  We chose our spouse to marry, leave or stay with.

Bottom line, we choose our path.  Now it's time to decide which road we continue to go down!

DO THE RIGHT THING!

We live in a country where we are given the right to vote and speak our mind. Some countries have laws such as an eye for an eye.  There comes a time where we all need to use our common senses and  come to terms with laws of the land we live in.

At times we disagree but man wrote the Constitution, Declaration of  Independence and other laws that get passed.  These are facts yet we ignore laws that have been written. We become enraged when laws don't go our way. As people we need to understand our rights and stand up for what is right in a civil manner.

Our hearts ache our minds spin as we yell about injustices and asking for justice to take place. We only want truth and honesty to prevail. Why can't we just Do the right thing?

UNCLEAR

There are days and nights when I just stare in a daze trying to comprehend how and Why I ended up in this place.  Why am I so unhappy? Why am I not content? Why do I question what's right and wrong in my life.

Being mature, being an adult and being on your own is truly work.  Sometimes I try and ponder what is right from wrong.  I ask myself which should I choose the right thing or the wrong thing. How can I make things better and move forward with my life?

Life at times is misty, grey and cloudy. It's really unclear and we so desperately want an answer so we can walk in the light with clarity and no longer be u clear of the path to take.

APART

Separation can be difficult for many of us-separation from spouse, child, employment or friendships. How does one get through those times?

How do we work through the difficulties? How do we see past the faults and not judge? How do we take back the insults and still say hello?

Separation: to separate, detach, let go! Are we prepared to do that? Even if we are not sometimes, things must be left to take its course.

Prepare for change, it is what it is! Analyze that so we can analyze this!
