FOOL IN LOVE

If I allow you to explain then I allow you to continue to lie.  If I allow you to look at me I am allowing myself to be fooled by your words.  Why do fools for in love? Why do birds sing so gay?  There is no answer to why we accept to be mistreated, knowing the other person is doing and saying something wrong.

Love and being in love is a funny thing.  We expect loyalty from the other person because we have been given it to them but all we get in return is lies and deceit.  Walk away, you deserve better, is what we are often told by our friends but its easier said the done.  Who can truly walk away?  We are taught to stand strong and fight for love.  Hey, that's why we are fools, because never once have I see. Love fight back!

SUMMER LOVE

Those eyes when he looks at me pierce into my soul.  His smile lights a room.  The way he touches my hand sends sparks up and down my spine.  When he walks through a room my stomach has butterflies.  He says hi and I get tongue tied.  My Summer crush how do I say I'm feeling you?

The smell of fresh lemons, mint and sugar.  I hate that summer is coming to an end.  I hope I can get a kiss, a hug and the words keep in touch.  Oh who can't identify with falling in love for those brief summer months?

I miss you, I love you, I can't stand you, but I want you.  Emotions of a 12 year old, so confusing, so lost in love.

Wow, I miss those days and years of thinking I knew what love was.  Does anyone know what it means to be in love today?

QUESTIONS

I wonder what tomorrow really holds.  Is it true our words is our power and dictates our faith?  Do you believe in karma? Do good things truly happen when you least expect it?

So many questions but who holds the answers.  They say life is short spend it with loved ones, what if your family is the ones that hurt you the most?  Do we even know the art of letting go and moving on?

Sometimes we have to just learn to forgive, let go and smile.  We need to live our lives and cherish the present and anticipate the power of the future.

UPWARDS

I never thought about regrets.  I always knew that things always happen for a reasoning it's own season. We often fall in and out of love.  Our mood changes like the weather and when in love or like we seem to question the others true motives.

If someone loves you, then you wouldn't have to beg them to stay, they would know that's where they belong.  Ladies, even men, never show that you are desperate, lonely, nor confused about decisions you make in order to take a stance.

Know your value stand by your decisions never regret.  Instead, reflect and understand your mistakes to not repeat them and learn to move onwards and upwards, because you can do bad by yourself!
